Simple Jib Pole saves Your Back and Your Wallet!

My sister and her husband are building an off grid Barn Home, AKA a Barndominium on a raw piece of land, this will be their forever home. Their plan is to do so with as little cost as possible, while maintaining a High Level of Quality, Beauty, and Bragging Rights.

To that end they really didn’t want to Rent a huge expensive piece of equipment to set their tie beams and rafter beams in place on their Barn Home Build, so They got creative did some research, and came up with this brilliant solution!

It’s a real life Old School Jib Pole! When I saw how simple it was to make, and how well it worked, my mind was completely blown!

I would highly encourage you to watch this video of their Jib Pole in action! Then you will want watch their second video showing the jib pole lifting beams on the second floor to build the rafters!
