The Greensburg Frame measures 32’ wide x 44’ long. It is constructed with hand hewn beech beams and predates the 1880s. It is comprised of 4 bents made from 8”x8” posts and 6”x6” tie beams – all of which are hand hewn beech beams. Lean-to additions could easily be added to this frame giving you more enclosed space, porches or both. There are a lot of possibilities and configurations to make this a great living space to fit your needs. Any timber frame modifications needed can be completed by us. We also will work directly with an architect and engineer to make this your dream home or getaway lodge. This barn is still standing in Greensburg, Indiana and is available to see by appointment.
