My name is Drew Layman and I take down, restore and repair barns and cabins from the 1800’s. What I have for sale is a beautiful Civil War Era hand hewn barn would make a terrific home or event center! One unique and beautiful feature of this barn is the canted top plates/purlins. There at one time was a loft in the barn but over the years has been removed. A new loft could be easily added back in part or in full.

All the wood salvaged from the barn is included in the sale as well as the hay trolly. The barn is still standing in Jasper Indiana. It has been cleaned out, tagged, charted, and ready to be taken down and moved.
All replacement material will be provided for beams that need to be replaced.
Shipping is NOT included but can easily be arranged.
At an additional charge, we can prep the building to be put back up, make any modifications needed, and properly store it on your property until ready to be put back up.
