There are 4 bents and 3 bays in this barn with 18′ 4″ of clear span. You will have 1200 square feet including the loft and it will only take up 600 square feet of space on your property. This utilization of space is perfect for the homesteader who wants to start growing thier own beef or milking thier own cows, while storing thier feed and tools in the above space.

This barn can comfortably house a few cows or a small herd of goats. It would also make a great space to hold feed for your chickens, hay, straw, or even a small tractor or lawnmower.

When your herd begins growing you will find it easy to build an additional lean-to on this barn, making it perfect for the homesteader who has plans to expand in the future.
