Hello, I have bought your barn plans and am planning on building soon. I have seen your packages use white pine, I am interested in using red pine. I have read it tends to twist and shrink a little more. If I cut it and put it up quickly will I still get much twisting once it is all anchored and bolted together?

Thanks for your question! Red Pine Does move and twist a lot more than White Pine. If you must use it, that’s okay but be prepared to have to get extra beams cut, when they twist too much.
