Barns To Salvage By Owner

This barn was moved to its current location in 1920, which means it is over 100 years old. At the end of July 2022, a tornado came through town and pushed a tree over collapsing the barn roof.  Other than the roof being destroyed, the remainder of the barn timber is in good condition.

This would be a great buy for someone who is looking to reconstruct an old barn or use reclaimed lumber for flooring or other projects.

The material is old yellow pine.
There’s probably 1,500 sq ft of 1x loft floor that is salvageable – most is between 12-16″ wide.
Most of the beams and 2x joist are still in great shape.
Approximately 70-80% exterior siding is redeemable.
